With just a few ingredients, you can easily make your own raw chocolate ice cream. Mix the following ingredients in a blender until the mixture is nice and smooth:
Ingredients
- 100g Raw cacao from Bolivia (finely chopped)
- 120g Coconut blossom sugar/agave syrup or similar (adjust amount to taste)
- 50g Cashew butter
- 1 tsp Carob bean gum (gluten-free binding agent)
- 450ml Water
Preparation
Mix this mixture and put it in the ice cream maker... mmmmh, enjoy!
If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can use slightly less water than indicated. Freeze the mixture and then blend it in a stand mixer with the remaining water until it becomes a creamy ice cream. To make it easier to remove the frozen mixture, I recommend using an ice cube tray or similar.
